Keep in Touch Chiangmai

Fond memories of living with his host family while a student in Denmark has led to the creation of this charming eatery, as you can see in the nostalgic name. Pop in for a waffle eggs benedict in the morning or indulge in Love on Top, of choux cream with homemade berry rose ice cream. Brick walls, vintage décor, and dim warm lighting comes together to create a homey European countryside ambience. In the back garden, there is a glass house which you can book for a private romantic dinner.

Forest Friends

It took the family three years to nurture all the trees and build this mini forest along with the café. It’s a serene place, cool with shades of lush green trees, and soothing with the sound of water from the fish pond. The café offers comfort food including pizza and nuggets, along with homemade bakery – coconut cake, chocolate fudge and orange cake. Coffee is brewed from natural grown beans from Chiang Rai where the forest is so abundant that it is a habitat of civets. Every now and then, the café will put out organic produces from their garden on sale at friendly prices.

Sai Ping

A wooden café by the Ping River has been turned into a restaurant serving a variety of Thai dishes. The open air setting is shady from the big trees covering the whole outdoor patio allowing wind to blow gently on your face as you gaze at the river. The building itself gives a homey ambience, perfect for a casual hangout with friends or family. The menu is dominantly Thai cuisine. There are single dishes to order if you want quick comfort food like kao soy or pineapple fried rice, or choose a large selection to feast with friends. At night, the restaurant is lit up with warm lights and live acoustic music.

Charoenrat Road, T. Wat Gate
