Lanna rugby club are having a bit of a resurgence this year with their kids, men and women’s team expanding. With their core values of Family first, United together and No one left behind you can see how much FUN they are having.
After the men’s team came second in the Chiang Rai International Rugby 7s last month, the Women went one better and were crowned the Thailand Northern Regional 7s winners.
The Lionesses are off to Bangkok this weekend to play in the National rugby 7s finals on October 21-23rd. This is their first national 7s finals so please wish them look as the carry the flag for Northern Thailand Rugby!
To keep the momentum going Lanna Rugby Club will also be hosting the 2nd Chiang Mai Rugby Touch Tournament starting from 930am at Varee Chiang Mai International School on October 28th 2023. We’d like to thanks Varee Chiang Mai School for hosting this event and for all that it does to help support the growth of the sport we love.
This event is open to beginners and there will be some expert coaching before the tournament for those who are new to the game. All are welcome to join and celebrate bringing the local community together. What better way to enjoy the World Cup Final day!
