There are many and a growing number of international schools in Chiang Mai catering for pupils of all ages.
The majority of international schools teach in English with most focusing on the UK, American or International Baccalaureate curriculums. There is also a German school.
School fees vary considerably for eye-wateringly expensive to very reasonable with several local schools running international English language programmes.
As you would expect from international schools, many offer excellent non-academic facilities and programmes with sport, art, music and drama all available to provide children with a rounded education.
The good news for parents is that there are plenty of choices and it pays to do research and ask other parents their opinions before choosing a school for your children.
