According to Bella Lavelle, one of the students leading this initiative, “Thousands of Burmese citizens have been forced to flee the military and police in Myanmar. They are now stranded on the border of Thailand, unable to enter the country and unable to escape the hell created by the junta. This includes pregnant women who are being forced to give birth in the jungle with no supplies.
Food, clean water, and shelter are in dire need in the camps along the border. We have a way to deliver supplies immediately to people to help them. We need your help to pay for the supplies and their delivery.
We’ve joined forces with a large aid organisation, Children on the Edge, for the banking process so that your donation will go entirely to buying and delivering aid to these people in need. Thank you Children on the Edge!
